The lay out
Living on board will be comfortable, with 3 cabins and 2 heads, we can accommodate up to 8 in camping mode (i.e using the saloon) which we don’t intend to do too often. The upholstery has been refitted through out this winter and it does look nice and tidy. There is plenty of storage space for all the kit.
Given our background in racing in a smaller vessel, we wanted to have the best of both world, a bigger and comfortable space to live aboard without compromising on sailing performance and the Grand Soleil 39, met these criteria. Although, I would suspect that by the time Ian has finished installing all the kit on board, our sailing performance will be diminished somewhat!
