Jolly Harbour Marina
Up early and spent most of the day in the Crow’s Nest, the only reliable access to internet, out of the way of the engineer poking around in the engine. The repair can’t be proven until tomorrow morning so we have to spend another night in the marina at US40 per night, costly repair.
Sam and Steve have just arrived and stumble upon us. A merry evening ensue, rum punch in the Crow’s nest (may have to pay rent if I carry on) the dinner on Mr X. They will be around for a while in Antigua, having just rented a house, so we make plan for Christmas. We’ll have fun for sure.
Wednesday 22nd November
Woken up at 6am, I went for a walk on the beach, fabulous at this time of the day. Back in time for breakfast and before Ian worries. The engineer is back at 9am and it looks like we have fixed or problem, fingers crossed. Back out to the anchorage in the afternoon.
