Varnishing & Volley ball

Highlights from the week  23-28 July

Another busy week in Grenada, it is a wonder that we actually managed to do some work on the boat. But still, we are making progress with the varnishing in between social activities. Monday late afternoon, we joined Yolene and Jean for a game of volley ball over in Secret harbour. To be more precised, I go for the walk and to cheer from the sidelines. At 1.60m, I am a bit challenged in the height department. Plenty people there, including Mark, my co-pilot, at over 2m height, Ian is lucky to be in his team. That was quite fun to watch, and it was nice to see Secret harbour.  No beach, just a small bay surrounded by mangrove. We end up sharing pizzas on board of Caffe latte (half price on Monday at the Tikki bar, we make the most of it). Another very good evening.

Ian had to go to the doctor; his prickly heat looking skin ailment is getting worse. Easily sorted though, by the end of the morning he has his prescription drugs and cream and now knows that it is actually a kind of mushroom growing on his skin…. nice!

We have new neighbours, New Vision, Petra & Robert, from Canada and friends of Caffe Latte.
