A ride to town on Caffe Latte
Jean and Yolene are leaving for Carriacou, for the ash. We would have loved to go too but we are running out of time. We really need to leave for Trinidad as soon as the weather improves and as Ian puts it, going back north does not help with our trip south! I have been wanting to drive Caffe Latte since we met her in Dominica. She is just my kind of boat, new! So I came up with an idea, Jean and Yolene are picking up PJ and Cathy in St George, maybe they need crew for the delivery (only 2 hours away!). So excited to be on board, she sails like a dream, so fast! We just flew down the coast. It is very interesting to be on board another vessel than ours and to see how other people do their stuff. Very interesting. We’ll be sorry to see them go; we’ve had a great time with them. We spend our time saying goodbye to people we like. Still Caffe Latte is also going north next season so we’ll probably meet up again in a few months.
