Concord Falls take 2
We did not realised that we were going back to the concord fall when Yolene signed us up for the hike. That was the really tough one we’d done back in July, still it was a very good one! Unfortunately, Yolene and Jean won’t be able to make it now, they are hauling out on Friday before a trip back to Canada and they have loads to do. Fortunately, Al and Francine and Dave are going, so is Will and Max (his boy), the rest we have met at the hashes so we should be ok. We know the way and it does not feel so intimidating, but he pace is much faster. We are dealing with serious hashers here and it shows…Not waiting for no one!
I’m trailing behind most of the way! Still better be slow and arrive in one piece! We had good fun at the back with Francine and Al, as per usual, loads of story and laughter. Only 2 falls today, but in the mud no damage done… it would be a shame, I need my legs fully functioning for Carnival dancing! The weather is not as nice as the last times so when we arrived at the fall, don’t really feel like being immersed in cold water and the mosquitoes are fierce today! Still my boos are pristine now! Back at the village, we had a nice rest for about two hours waiting for the taxi back and a nice chat with the kids. Good time was had by all!
