Next day we went to the 14th of July parade, the finest of the French military in their finery. The firefighters corps got the most cheers. the commentary was interesting, the history and data of the unit marching was explained. Quite busy too, plenty of rousing music and officials speeches. In the afternoon we found our way to the last day of the craft exposition on the outskirts of town. The best handcraft from all the archipelagos being displayed.
