We are up early this morning the bus is at 8.30 and after we have secure our cruising permit we catch the bus to Portobello where we are hoping to do a bit of shopping. We got in conversation with a nice French guy who has been around for a while so we get all the info we need. Portobello is not that big nor attractive. The shopping is not so good either. Still there is a fort and a nice anchorage, maybe we’ll come back and anchor here . the church is full, the pope is visiting panama next week for the catholic youth festival… the place is mobbed with pilgrims, all across panama.
