Need to get to Nargana today and sort out some mice traps! We followed Pineapple in....and then we passed them. Off to the village straight away, no time to loose. It is densely populated, houses and people everywhere. We find Frederico or more likely Frederico found us. Upon hearing our story of finding evidence of a mouse on board, he laugh and try to palm us off with one of his cats … nice cats actually. According to him, they have very clever mice in Panama, they can swim and climb anchor chains… Federico ferry us around from one shop to the next trying to find mouse traps! My heart sank as we reached the 3 one and we got a negative nod. One more to go and thankfully they have some traps, the glue ones. Not sure of the efficacy of these, but we have no choice, we buy 5 of them.
Whilst we are here we make some provision, the supply boats from the main land have obviously been here not so long ago. The shops are full of fresh veg and fruits. The cost of these are very reasonable too.
