Took us 2 days to get to the San Blas islands, an archipelago off the east coast of Panama, actually that is not quite correct took us a day, but we arrived at the coral gate too late to pass it, a bit too dangerous. So we turned round and waited the night out going up and down. Still managed to go 35 miles out of our way. Still next morning we had a beautiful view of the islands looming in the sunshine . We made it before lunch. And it is a beautiful spot between 3 islands, one of which is inhabited, well there are one or 2 families living there. Palm trees everywhere it is stunning. Think we are going to like it here.
