Manga Cemetery

Thursday 27th December 18
Busy day today, we will be meeting Jacqui and david later early afternoon to go to the fort, so we have a couple of hours to try to find the Mangua cemetery. Actually it does not take so long. Manga is quite compact and we have been ambling around it for a few days now. What a place, a grand entrance with portico and places to sit in the shade. The main alley with the older tombs starts there, all very ornate, with old trees and benches under them. Never seen so many winged angels. Plenty of people around too, many children. We even hear singing down one of the alley. You can tell that people come here on a regular basis, most of the alleys are shaded from the sun. The most poignant children graves we have ever seen, with pictures and favourite toys, really sad.
