Sunday 25th nov
We meet our neighbours from the catamaran next to us. We had a nice chat all morning until another catamaran decided to pick up the buoy next to them, not so smooth. They both jumped back in the water so fast. Fortunately no damaged was done.
The water is very inviting so I decide to go and have a go at snorkelling... on my own... it was just great. I found a little reef just 50 metres away from Mr X, teeming with fish. Absolutely beautiful. I take Ian there after lunch. He is thrilled.
Monday 26th nov
We have to extend our stay with the marina, so we go ashore . the place is mobbed, there is a cruise ship in town... it just changes the whole atmosphere of the town, all the shops are open and bustling, all the restaurants are doing brisk business. I like it. only trouble the cash points are all empty. We end up doing some souvenir shopping of our own... first souvenir I have bought since we left [a red fish and 2 rays]. Our new neighbour Mike is English, he had some issues with his outboard engine and Ian went to help. He came back later in the afternoon for a cup of tea, nice young man. Although he is not recommending nor Aruba nor Curacao. Shame we are going there next.. We finished the day on Jackster for drinks and loads of blah blah.
