St Kitts & Nevis
Friday 8th December 17
We follow the coast to Shitten Bay and Reggea beach, stopping at both for a little while, enough time for our guests to take a dip, can’t have them too long out of the water, they’ll dry out. Again the weather is not settled so it is not particularly pleasant at anchor, but it does look pretty.
Nevis is only across the water but it keeps appearing and disappearing in the rain. Fortunately, by the time we get there, the volcano is there in all its splendour. Nice surprise, Lynn and Peter are here on Christine… a bit of socializing is in order. Ian is cooking!
Nevis -Charlestown
Saturday 9th December 17
We have a bit of an explore of the town of Charlestown, fairly quickly done as it is so small. Small but very pleasant. I do like the Christmas decorations everywhere. We do find a Christmas bazaar at the back of the church but it is too early to be buzzing. The fruit and veg market was entertaining and colourful.
